Ameritrex is a recruiting-agency with the logistic-headquarters in Cluj-Napoca city, Romania (Klausenburg), and the administrative-headquarters in Tg-Mures city (Neumarkt).

We started our activity back in 1999-2000 as a recruiting-agency of graduate and undergraduate-students to enroll them with cultural-exchange working-programs in U.S. under the J1 visa for 4 up to 18 months program-duration. This program was largely popular in most East-EU countries such as: Poland, Bulgaria, Lithuania, Romania, and Czech-Republic, by late-90’ until 2005, when the enrollments started to fall down to a fraction of their peak heights from 2001-2004. Besides the 2 – 3.000 students Ameritrex recruited until 2007, we also did screening and placements for large numbers of skilled and semi-skilled workers for Seasonal Positions in U.S., under the H2-B working visa which allows an alien-worker to be employed for up to 10 months per year, for unlimited consecutive years (details, please click here)

Due to the strengthening of the Euro versus the USD starting 2002-2006, and Romania / Poland / Bulgaria / Czech and Slovak-Republics joining the EU during the same period of time, the interest for cultural-exchange and working programs in US  shrank each season, determining our management to re-organize the entire activity for the following decade. We started looking for alternative new recruiting-markets, able to provide healthy growth-rates for several consecutive years. Starting 2006, Ameritrex opened its first branch-office in New-Delhi, India, focusing on recruitment of skilled and unskilled workers so-much needed in the booming E-EU economies, along with candidates for the U.S.-Employers too.

In the same time, we also started working on educational programs by promoting several of top Public and Private Romanian Universities among High-School graduates from Asia, screening and recruiting them in order to fit the admission-criteria of the chosen universities, and eventually assisting them with the visa-formalities for obtaining the studying visa for Romania. The main Universities we take pride in partnering with are the following: University of Medicine and Pharmacy from Targu-Mures, AHA-IHMS Romania (American Hospitality Academy – International Hotel Management Schools), Constanta Maritime University, „Bogdan Voda” University from Cluj-Napoca, The Technical University, Cluj-Napoca and few more others.
